The following is a list of ways you can help the organisation achieve its goals:
Becoming a member provides you with access to a range of resources and information. Your membership also helps the organisation as we rely on subscriptions as a form of very much needed funding. Our members provide us with information on the issues affecting them which in turn gives us with a stronger voice when communicating with Government Departments. Our members are also instrumental in helping to raise awareness of Dyspraxia/DCD across the country. Members receive a membership card, regular newsletters and information from the organisation and discounts on events organised and run by Dyspraxia/DCD Ireland. Members can access information and videos contained in the members only section of our website.
Our team is made up of parents and professionals, with skills that add to our expertise, who give their time on a voluntary basis. With the workload that is involved in running the office, raising awareness, giving information talks in schools, managing the helpline, fundraising, attending meetings, organising workshops, seminars, talks and the annual summit... there is a lot to be covered. In order to share this workload we are always looking for and welcome new volunteers to the organisation. For further information please contact us via our contact form.
We are always looking at ways by which we can raise awareness of Dyspraxia/DCD throughout Ireland. If you can help in anyway we would very much like to hear from you. We will provide all the information and booklets etc and assist you with this in any way we can. For further information please contact us via our contact form.
Your donations go a long way towards helping Dyspraxia/DCD Ireland support those affected by Dyspraxia/DCD. They help us provide a helpline to all those in need of support, raise awareness about Dyspraxia/DCD, run information evenings, organise activities for children and provide much needed services for people dealing with Dyspraxia/DCD.
Dyspraxia/DCD Ireland relies on corporate donations and community fundraising to supplement our annual funding. There is simply no way we could bring our services to so many people without this support. We would very much welcome the opportunity to discuss our objectives and plans further with any interested companies large or small. We will work closely with you to develop and support your corporate social responsibilities goals; from helping to organise a one-off event to building a long-term partnership. To discuss partnership opportunities with Dyspraxia/DCD Ireland please contact us via our contact form.
Donations to Dyspraxia/DCD Ireland can be made through our online donation button which is powered by Stripe where you can select the amount and whether you wish to make a single or monthly payment. Major credit and debit cards are accepted through a secure, encrypted payment gateway.
